Terms of Service

Welcome to CVHub.id. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CVHub.id website, platform, and AI-powered CV-building services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms comply with Indonesian law, including Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE) as amended by Law No. 19 of 2016, and the Civil Code of Indonesia (Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Perdata / KUHPerdata).

1. Definitions

• "Service" means the CVHub.id website and platform, including all AI-powered CV building, rewriting, reformatting, ATS analysis, cover letter generation, and interview preparation features.
• "User" or "You" means any individual who accesses or uses the Service.
• "Content" means any CV, document, text, data, or other material uploaded, submitted, or generated through the Service.
• "Plans" means the paid service tiers offered: CV Only ($1), CV + Cover Letter ($3), and Complete Package ($5), each a one-time purchase.

2. Eligibility

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms under Indonesian law. If you are using the Service on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information.
• Keep your password confidential and not share your account with others.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Service Description

CVHub.id provides an AI-powered platform that helps users create, optimize, and reformat professional CVs. The Service includes:

• AI-powered CV rewriting and optimization.
• ATS compatibility checking and analysis.
• Professional CV reformatting.
• AI-generated cover letters.
• AI-powered interview preparation (Complete Package only).
• One-click PDF export.

The AI-generated content is provided as a tool to assist you. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and finalizing all content before use in any professional context.

5. User Obligations

You agree not to:

• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent CV content.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Indonesian law.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the AI technology.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.
• Create multiple accounts to abuse pricing or promotions.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our IP

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, algorithms, graphics, and branding, is owned by CVHub.id and protected by Indonesian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

6.2 Your Content

You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights to the CVs and content you upload to the Service. By submitting Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6.3 Generated Content

AI-generated output (rewritten CVs, cover letters, interview questions) produced by the Service is owned by you. We make no claim of ownership over the AI-generated content created at your direction.

7. Pricing & Payment

7.1 Plans

The Service offers the following one-time purchase plans:

• CV Only: $1 USD — includes AI CV build, ATS optimization, and PDF export.
• CV + Cover Letter: $3 USD — includes everything in CV Only plus AI cover letter generation.
• Complete Package: $5 USD — includes everything in CV + Cover Letter plus AI interview preparation.

7.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by our third-party payment gateways: Xendit and Midtrans. By making a purchase, you agree to their respective terms and privacy policies. Payment methods accepted include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and virtual accounts as provided by the payment gateways.

7.3 Currency

All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD). Your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees.

8. Refund Policy

Given the digital nature of our Service, all purchases are final upon completion of the AI processing. Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

• Service failure preventing access to purchased features.
• Duplicate or erroneous charges.
• As required by applicable Indonesian consumer protection laws.

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase via support@cvhub.id. Each request is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indonesian law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• CVHub.id is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of AI-generated CV content. Users are solely responsible for verifying all content before use.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will meet specific job application outcomes or that ATS-optimized CVs will pass any particular screening system.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific plan giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time:

• If you violate these Terms.
• If you engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
• As required by Indonesian law or regulatory authorities.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice, the parties agree to resolve the dispute through the District Court of Central Jakarta, Indonesia, to the exclusion of other courts.

This dispute resolution provision does not limit your rights under Indonesian consumer protection laws.

12. Electronic Transactions (UU ITE)

By using the Service, you acknowledge that these Terms constitute a valid electronic agreement under Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE) as amended by Law No. 19 of 2016. Electronic records and communications shall have the same legal effect as written documents.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified to users via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
